Carnival Fascination, Cruise to the Bahamas

We took a cruise to the Bahamas with Mom and Dad. Five nights and two ports and lots of great food. A little bit of wave action coming and going but overall we had beautiful weather and a fantastic time.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

A day in the sun at beautiful Half Moon Cay, the cruiseline's private island. We snorkeled all down the coast while mom and dad lounged in the lawn chairs and watched the ocean. Mom and I took a swim together before we left. We didn't want to leave.

Atlantis Resort Hotel, Nassau, Bahamas

A quick trip over to Atlantis Resort Hotel ended our Nassau tour. It was time to get back to the ship and get ready for dinner.

Nassau, Bahamas

On day three we pulled into Nassau, Bahamas. We did the mandatory shopping at the Straw Market and then took a guided tour of the town by a local guide. We walked around Fort Fincastle with a very strange tour guide with a funny accent and took a few pictures of the fort and the surrounding area. Interesting day.

Halloween on the Sea

On Halloween Evening we were on day 2 of our cruise. We had a great lobster dinner and enjoyed seeing all the passengers in their crazy Halloween costumes.

Space A Flying VIP Style

C-37 Gulfstream V

The C-37 is a twin-engine, turbofan aircraft acquired to fill the worldwide special air missions for high-ranking government and Defense Department officials and the occasional space A traveler. We rode this plane from Andrews AFB, MD to Scott AFB, IL. We welcomed the VIP treatment on our way back to Arkansas. Cudos to the crew and staff for making it such a pleasant trip.

Panoramic Highway, CA

After departing Muir Woods N.M., we took a drive on the Panoramic Highway. We stopped at Muir Beach, Muir Beach Overlook, and several more spots to sightsee and take photos.
