As we traveled through northeast Ohio we stopped at the James A. Garfield NHS located in Mentor, OH, just a couple of miles from the interstate. It was an interesting and educational visit. So if you happen to be passing through the area, take the time to stop and see President Garfield's home and grounds.
Enjoyed a beautiful day at Niagara Falls, plus watched an unexpected show of the Canadian Air Force Snow Birds flight team flying above the falls. Very cool. We walked through Niagara Falls State Park on the U.S. side. Then we walked back through the park, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on foot and walked up to the Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side, and back. It was a good 6+ mile walk with amazing scenery. Everyone should put Niagara Falls on their bucket list.
