We were told that the best view of The Great Salt Lake was from Antelope Island which is in the middle of the lake. The island is approximately 15 miles long and 4.5 miles wide. Once we got there, we realized that the lake was not the only scenery to be seen as there were buffalo, antelope and jack rabbits that inhabited the island (the pictures were not very clear of the rabbits so we didn't include them). There were some trails on the island which would have probably been alot of fun to hike but the gnats were so bad all over the island that we prefered to stay in the car most of the time.
