Saguaro National Park

There is an 8 mile scenic drive through the Saguaro National Park. These are pictures we took while driving through there. This cactus can get as tall as 50 feet. The tallest ones we saw were approximately 30 feet or so. The saguaro cactus has an average life span of 150 years and some live up to 200 years. The holes you see in the cactus are from birds pecking nests into the cactus. We are taking a hike through there tomorrow so we will put some closeups on there then.
