On 10 October we visited Point Reyes National Seashore, CA, located on the coast north of San Francisco. Upon arrival the weather was partly cloudy with temperatures in the low 60's and perfect conditions for photography. An hour later the clouds and fog from the Pacific rolled in and covered the point. We were able to get some great pictures before the point was shrouded in white.The lighthouse was built in 1870 and still houses the original globe, which weighs 6,000 pounds.
