The National Museum of the United States Air Force is located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH and is the largest aviation museum in the world. The diagram below shows the placement of aircraft in this massive museum facility. There are currently 3 hangar buildings, plus a 4th building under construction and scheduled to open in 2016. The museum staff includes almost 500 volunteers ranging in ages 19 to 90. This place is an aviation fan's dream. Be sure to put this museum on your trip plans if traveling through or even close to Dayton, OH.
