It was about 60 miles to the north entrance and it took us about 4 hours to get there because we kept stopping to look at the animals and the scenery. It was 80 degrees at the north entrance and it was about 65 here at the RV site. The difference in elevation is about 2500 feet. The difference in temperature was about 15 degrees. There was no snow there while we still have 4 feet of snow here in some places.
