Today we took a drive from here at Fort Davis to town of Alpine, on to Marfa, almost to Valentine and then back to Fort Davis. It was about 100 miles of scenic highway, grasslands and mountains. This area ranks right up there with Big Bend and Guadelupe Mountains National Parks as the most beautiful places in Texas.
